First, obviously, your first out-of-class story is due that morning. Please make sure you meet the deadline.
Second, there will be new blog posts up that morning that you'll need to review. Please make sure you carefully consider what content is offered.
Third, you will have various homework assignments posted that morning: textbook chapter readings, practice stories (plural), and a second out-of-class story pitch assignment. Please make sure that you carefully review what new assignments are on tap, and make sure you meet all deadlines as posted.
So, to restate: we will not be meeting in class on Friday, Oct. 13. You will have work due, and the blog will be updated with new work for you to review and complete. We will next meet in class on Wednesday, Oct, 18.
