PROBLEM: We said the superintendent and principal (the defendants, which is the term for people being sued) were demanding the student stay in school, when in fact the student's parents (the plaintiffs, which is the term for people filing a lawsuit and making accusations) who want to keep their son in school.
SOLUTION: Make
sure you correctly understand facts before you start writing; and
double-check facts after you finish writing to make sure what you wrote
was correct.
