... like in Nathan P.'s video project here. In the first interview segment, instead of video B-roll we use still photos, and that's fine! B-roll just has to be a visual showing what is being talked about at the moment.
Yes, video is preferred, but it's not necessary as long as we can see what is being said. Plus, see how we added the sense of animation by panning in/out of the still pic. A very nice aesthetic touch.
