Job Shadows: Time Is Running Out!

If you haven't done your job shadow yet, you are probably in some serious doo-doo. It would take a minor miracle for you to schedule and attend a shadow in time to meet your deadline.

Still, I want you to complete this assignment, even imperfectly.

What I mean is this: if you have not shadowed someone yet, simply do an interview with a media professional about what they do every day, and submit a written report on that interview by no later than 9 a.m. Thursday. I will give you half-credit for simply doing an interview as opposed to a full-on shadow.

It's imperative that you do either a shadow or an interview. The failure to do anything on this assignment will drop your final course grade; under the grading scale that is a mathematical certainty. Don't let a good grade slip away because you missed doing what is a pretty easy assignment to do, once you find someone to shadow or interview.
